How it works
FDS serves as an administrator for several manufacturer rebate/data volume by unit programs that in most cases are offering cash rebates. FDS' process for collecting the utilization data insures the participating pharmacy that 100% of their utilization data is submitted as required by the manufacturer. You can select which market share programs to enter and choose which drugs to track in each program via your secure FDS web site login.

Joining FDS' Market Share program provides valuable benefits that can help you to maximize your pharmacy's profit potential. There are no setup costs, no software to purchase or install. FDS retains a 10% administration fee of the rebates you receive. You system vendor or buying group may receive an additional administration fee.

FDS Part B Rebate/Purchase Discount Programs
What it is
FDS' provides data to select manufacturers to support special pricing and/or rebate programs for certain Pt B covered drug products such as diabetic test strips as well as products such as Xeloda, Cellcept, and Betaseron.
How it works
There is no additional software to install or changes in your prescription filling process. FDS collects, packages, and delivers all necessary claims data on claims for participating manufacturer NDCs.
Expected results
The manufacturer uses the FDS provided data to document special pricing programs or provide additional rebate revenue to your pharmacy per the terms of your manufacturer program specific agreement. Typically the manufacturer is rebating the difference between the CMS allowable and the manufacturer wholesale cost plus a small percentage add on. This is defined in each manufacturer program dedication agreement.
