Safe. EZ e-Script enhances patient safety and reduces pharmacy liability because common pharmacy transcription errors are eliminated when the prescription's drug strength and directions are electronically transmitted to the pharmacy system.
Secure. Relying on verbal information from telephone calls for new prescriptions, refill request approvals, and therapeutic changes introduces the risk for fraud, drug diversion, and misinterpretation of the spoken word. Electronic prescriptions with automatic audit trails of physician-approved changes provide security and a measure of protection to the pharmacist.
Reliable. With EZ e-Script's ability to connect to major networks such as MedAdvant Healthcare Solutions and SureScripts, pharmacies are not limited to a single vendor's provider list.

- Print hard copies as desired from the electronic transactions of new prescriptions.
- Store transactions on a FDS secure server and then transmit to and from SureScripts and MedAdvant Healthcare Solutions on a secured line.
- Receive and store new prescription, refill request, and refill response transactions automatically in a queue on the Synercom pharmacy system for easy review.
- Process transactions directly from the queue.

Fees
- The EZ eScript software interface is available to HCC Synercom customers without charge.
- FDS charges a small fee per transaction.
- FDS does not charge a monthly fee for the service.
